Get in Touch

Valencia County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody or release, post bond, release someone, or retrieve an official booking record. Use the responsible public office or locator below for an official answer.

Official Routes for Records and Custody

Match the question to the office that holds the record. A city arrest, county detention, court case, state prisoner, federal prisoner, and immigration detainee can each require a different source. A booking charge is an accusation, not a conviction; use a court record to learn a case’s disposition.

Use 911 for an emergency or dispatch for a non-emergency incident. Requests for sheriff reports, body-worn video, and other county-held records should go through the written county IPRA process.

For a present custody question, contact the detention center. The county’s Detainees Information page advertises a current list, but a usable roster, photo field, and refresh schedule were not verifiable in the research reviewed for this site. Do not treat it as a confirmed public booking-photo feed. Public staff may provide general bond amounts and current criminal charges, but not housing, classification, medical, or mental-health information.

Written County Records Requests

Use the county’s NextRequest IPRA portal for a written request for a county-held booking sheet, photograph, report, or other record. The NextRequest FAQ covers general record categories, timing, and fees, but it does not establish a specific booking-photo fee. Identify the person, approximate booking date, booking number if known, arresting agency if known, and whether inspection or a digital copy is requested. New Mexico’s Inspection of Public Records Act, NMSA 1978 §§ 14-2-1 through 14-2-16, governs the general public-records framework, subject to applicable exemptions and redactions.

Court, State, Federal, and Immigration Status

For a city arrest, begin with the arresting city police department and then verify whether the person was booked into county detention. The home page explains the county, city, and records-request paths in more detail. Questions about this site’s practices can be reviewed in the Legal Disclaimer, Privacy Notice, and Terms & Conditions.
