Search Entries
A name, location, or similar detail entered into a search tool is sent to the independent provider that operates that tool. Valencia County Busted Mugshots does not store or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages to the Site
If a visitor sends an email or contact message, we keep the information needed to respond. We do not share that message outside our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Technical Data and Cookies
Like most websites, we may receive technical information when a page is loaded, including:

The site links to public offices, detainee information, court research, corrections resources, and third-party tools. Once a visitor follows an external link, that other organization’s privacy policy and practices apply. This site does not control those practices.
Advertising partners may measure activity across websites in order to provide interest-based advertising. That tracking occurs within the advertising partner’s systems, not as a local log of search terms by this site.

We do not sell personal data. Information may be available to the following categories of recipients when necessary for the services described here:
- search partners that process a submitted query;
- analytics providers that help measure site use;
- advertising networks that provide advertisements; and
- law-enforcement or government authorities when a valid legal order requires disclosure.
Security Practices
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information. No internet-connected system is completely secure, however, and we cannot promise that data will never be accessed, lost, or disclosed without authorization.
Visitors Under 18
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a parent or guardian believes that a minor submitted personal information, please use the Get in Touch page to request its deletion.
Your Information Choices
Subject to applicable law, a visitor may ask to:

- correct inaccurate personal information;
- request deletion of personal information; or

Requests can be sent through the Get in Touch page. This policy concerns this private site, not records held by Valencia County or another public office; public-records requests are handled through the relevant official custodian.

We may revise this Privacy Notice as the site or its services change. Any revision will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
